Prince George is currently enjoying a break from school during the summer holidays with his two younger siblings Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Last year, the children started at a brand new school after the Prince and Princess of Wales decided to relocate from Kensington Palace in London to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor.

The trio now attend Lambrook School but despite being royalty, the youngsters are treated like all other children and take part in all lessons.

George and Charlotte had a similar relationship with their previous school of Thomas' in Battersea, South London where the pair enjoyed their early education, the Mirror reports.

Britain's Prince George of Cambridge, Britain's Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Britain's Prince Louis of Cambridge, Britain's Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Britain's Princess Charlotte of Cambridge arrive for a settling in afternoon at Lambrook School, near Ascot in Berkshire on the eve of their first school day.

While it seems like the intelligent young Prince and future King enjoys his lessons, it's been revealed that there was one school activity he took part in that left him "confused and annoyed".

Prince William made the revelation after his oldest son took part in litter-picking sessions, which left the youngster angry about the state of the planet.

Speaking on a BBC podcast in 2021, William divulged: "So George at school recently has been doing litter picking and I didn't realise but talking to him the other day he was already showing that he was getting a bit confused and a bit sort of annoyed by the fact they went out litter picking one day and then the very next day they did the same route, same time and pretty much all the same litter they picked up back again.

"And I think that for him he was trying to understand how and where it all came from. He couldn't understand, he's like, 'well, we cleaned this. Why has it not gone away?’"

The Prince of Wales has always been very vocal about doing more to prevent climate change and environmental problems, and he set up the Earthshot Prize in order to find more solutions to global warming.

He previously said that he was worried that his children's generation may still be talking about climate change in years to come.

He added: "But it shouldn't be that there's a third-generation now coming along having to ramp it up even more.

"And you know, for me, it would be an absolute disaster if George is sat here talking to you or your successor, you know in like 30 years time, whatever, still saying the same thing, because by then we will be too late."

After finishing his time at Lambrook, it is likely that George, who has just turned 10, and later Louis will follow in their father's footsteps and attend Eton College when they reach the age of 13.

Rumours were sparked after George was spotted touring the prestigious school earlier this year with William and Kate.
