Justin and Hailey Bieber have been extremely candid in the past about their relationship, both the heavy and light parts. And, well, this latest anecdote definitely falls into the latter category. In a new interview with Elle, Hailey reveals that she actually gets annoyed at Justin because his eyelashes are longer than hers.
"My husband actually has way longer lashes than I do, and I get really annoyed," she says. "[Mine are] visible, they're there, but they're not super long. It's fine. I've accepted it. I can live with it."
Not to negate anyone's beauty insecurities, but I am chuckling at the fictional image of Hailey Bieber waking up and glowering at her husband over his perfect, doe-like eyelashes. In my mind, they're eating breakfast together and she's staring him down with the fiery envy of someone whose eyelashes can't double as a pair of fans. “What's wrong?” Justin asks, his lush lashes fluttering like butterflies on the first day of spring. He's confused! Hailey says nothing, but Justin totally gets the message. It's his lashes! His long, beautiful, cursed lashes!
I'm kidding, obviously. From this soundbite, it's clear Hailey's just playing around. But it's a funny image nonetheless.
Elsewhere in the interview, the model opens up about she got Justin interested in skincare. "He cares a lot about what's going on with his skin because he knows how much I love it," she tells Elle, later adding, “Justin was struggling a bit with acne. I tried to help him clear that and get that under control and it is working. It's gone, and he's really happy. I give him all of the tips that I use personally and I've given him products that I use.” A couple who swaps skincare secrets together stays together.
