Shep Rose appeared on Thursday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, where he opened up about his nearly year-long romance with girlfriend Taylor Ann Green.
As the Southern Charm star appeared via video chat with co-star Leva Bonaparte, he spoke about a number of show topics, including the relationship between Austen Kroll and Madison LeCroy, and also Kathryn Dennis‘ performance at the recently-taped reunion.
“Our parents have met,” Shep revealed to host Andy Cohen after being asked about the seriousness of their courtship.
Although Shep confirmed that he and Taylor aren’t officially living together, despite the fact that she spends most nights at his home, he said that she is well-liked by all of his loved ones.
“She’s one of the guys and my friends all love her, my family loves her. It’s just nice to have that support and you have people who are like, ‘I love your girlfriend,’ and it just feels good,” he gushed. “It makes you feel warm and fuzzy.”
On the WWHL: After Show, after admitting that he doesn’t think Danni Baird‘s relationship with Kathryn is healthy, Shep compared the two women to Austen and Madison.
“It’s almost like Austen and Madison, like Kathryn being Madison and she being Austen. She always goes back to the flame and she gets burned time and time again,” he explained.
While Austen and Madison’s relationship ups and downs have been quite messy in recent months, Shep told Andy that when it comes to their current status, it is clear that they have maintained a friendship post-split.
“I think they’ll always be friends. I was in a car with Austen not long ago and she called and was put on speaker and you could tell they were genuinely invested in each other’s lives and cared about each other,” he shared.
During another moment of WWHL, Shep spoke of the Southern Charm reunion, revealing that it was Kathryn who was “least accountable” during the taping.
“I think Kathryn but I think it was misplaced,” Shep told Andy of Kathryn’s frustrations with Andy at the taping.
“You were asking her completely fair questions and she just couldn’t deliver,” he added.
The Southern Charm season seven reunion begins airing next Thursday, January 28, at 9/8c on Bravo.
