The Warriors were unable to outlast the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday night, as they lost the final game of their homestand, 104-95.
The Pacers routinely swarmed Steph Curry with multiple defenders, and deployed a lot of "box-and-one" on the two-time NBA MVP.
It was a very solid team-wide effort, which explains why Curry appeared annoyed by a specific question during his postgame video conference call with the media.
"Uhhh, he played defense," the superstar said before laughing. "I don't know. They all were aggressive. They had a scheme. It wasn't just him, it was everybody.
"Tried to slow us down and give us different looks. But ... yeah (chuckle)."
Curry finished the night with 20 points (7-for-17 overall, 3-for-8 on 3s), three assists and two turnovers. He entered the game averaging 20.6 field goal attempts, so Indiana successfully limited his number of looks.

The Warriors are well aware that more and more teams are going to throw "janky" defenses at them, and they must prepare accordingly.

“That will be a big theme this season," Steve Kerr said. "And we have to do a better job getting comfortable attacking what people are throwing at us and we will.
"We’ll get better with it.”
